Prevent Blindness Tri-State announces its
Centennial Celebration of 2007/2008
Honoring 185 combined years of preventing blindness
and saving sight in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
This year Prevent Blindness Tri-State is celebrating 185 combined years of service in the tri-state region. The national organization, Prevent Blindness America, was founded in New York City in 1908. Prevent Blindness has served Connecticut for 55 years and New Jersey for 30 years.

Prevent Blindness Tri-State is a non-profit with 501(c)(3) status.
Last year alone, Prevent Blindness Tri-State served over 15,000 children and more than 22,000 adults through eye health education, vision screening, and resource referral. Because of this effort, 38,000 pairs of eyes are better prepared to have healthy vision for life.
